Technical Support Center 719 and Battalion 458 launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people.

* On the afternoon of August 29, the Party Committee - Command of the 719 Technical Support Center organized a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people. Colonel Nguyen Van Quang - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Center chaired the launch.

The 719th Technical Support Center Commander joined in support.

At the launching ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Quang emphasized that during the struggle for independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people, the Cuban people have always given Vietnam valuable assistance both materially and spiritually. Currently, Cuba is facing many difficulties and challenges in economy , society and life due to embargo, natural disasters and epidemics. The donation shows the affection and sharing with the Cuban people.

During the launch, the unit raised over 115 million VND. The launch was carried out from August 29 to September 8.

* On the same day, Battalion 458, Naval Region 4 organized a launch in response to the donation program to support the Cuban people "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship".

The activity demonstrates the sympathy and strong international solidarity between the two peoples of Vietnam and Cuba; affirming the loyal and steadfast affection of the Party, State and people of Vietnam for the Cuban people. The enthusiastic support of each officer and soldier is a valuable resource that helps the people of the neighboring country overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and continue to develop. At the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of Battalion 458 raised 21.2 million VND.
