This is a moment that any Vietnamese person dreams of", central defender Do Duy Manh shared when he learned that he was one of the athletes selected to participate in the Cultural - Sports Parade Group to attend the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2.

On the morning of September 2, center back Duy Manh shared the moment of singing the Vietnamese National Anthem with joy and pride on the nation's great holiday. On his personal page, the center back born in 1996 also expressed: "Grateful, respectful and proud. Always love Vietnam. Peace is so beautiful", when he shared the memorable moment at the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2.
With 20 years of dedication to national football, Duy Manh is one of the outstanding sports figures to receive honor in the Cultural - Sports parade.
The central defender currently playing for Hanoi FC made a great contribution to the Vietnam U23 team winning the runner-up position at the 2018 U23 Asian Cup, helping the Vietnam Olympic team reach the semi-finals of the 2018 Asian Games, and winning the 2018 AFF Cup.

Notably, after helping the Vietnamese team win the AFF Cup 2024, Duy Manh was on the list of 6 players honored to receive the 3rd class Labor Medal from the President (along with Nguyen Xuan Son, Nguyen Hoang Duc, Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Tien Linh, Nguyen Dinh Trieu).
“My greatest pride is to wear the national team jersey, to contribute a small part to the overall achievements of Vietnamese football and today to walk in the national festival. This will be a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life,” Duy Manh shared after contributing a small part to the success of the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2.
