On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, on April 24, the provincial delegation led by Comrade Ly Thi Vinh, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, visited and presented gifts to cadres, soldiers, and youth volunteers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign currently living in Bao Yen district.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Lo Van Tinh, 93 years old, currently living in Mai Ha village, Xuan Hoa commune and Mr. Nong Van Dan, 91 years old, living in La village 1, Xuan Thuong commune. On this occasion, the delegation sent greetings and gifts to Mr. Long Van Lanh in Cuong 2 village, Xuan Hoa commune. They were soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Listening to historical stories, brave fighting spirit, always firmly holding the gun moving forward, steadfastly fighting against the enemy, the delegation expressed admiration for the indomitable will, resilience, and fearlessness of sacrifice of the veterans.

Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of Mrs. Nong Thi Tam, 88 years old in Ban 1 La and Mrs. Hoang Thi Phuc, 87 years old in Ban 1 La, both in Xuan Thuong commune. These are former youth volunteers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign when they were only 16-17 years old.

Comrade Ly Thi Vinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, expressed her admiration for the enthusiasm and bravery of the former youth volunteers who devoted their youth to contributing to the Dien Bien Phu Victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world".


On behalf of the delegation, comrade Ly Thi Vinh shared her feelings, pride and gratitude to the children of the homeland who bravely participated in the fight and served in the battle at Dien Bien Phu battlefield; wished them good health and to always be a spiritual support toeducate the younger generation to continue promoting traditions, building a more and more developed family life and homeland.
Comrade Ly Thi Vinh requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention, care for and implement well the regimes and policies for people with meritorious services.
