Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board - Le Thanh Nghiem attended the National Great Unity Day at Ong Let Hamlet

Secretary of Vinh Hung District Party Committee - Nguyen Anh Viet praised the contributions of Ong Let hamlet people in recent times.

Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board - Le Thanh Nghiem; Secretary of Vinh Hung District Party Committee - Nguyen Anh Viet; representatives of provincial departments and branches; leaders of Vinh Hung district, Vinh Thuan commune and a large number of people from Ong Let Hamlet Residential Area attended the Festival.

Ong Let Hamlet residential area has 202 households with 781 people. In 2024, the Hamlet Front Committee actively propagated and mobilized people to effectively implement the contents of the Campaign for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas; set forth conventions and registered to build cultural families. As a result, more than 98% of households met the 3 cultural family standards, more than 96% of people participated in health insurance, and households in the residential area actively participated in preventing and combating crimes, social evils, and traffic safety.

The "State and People Working Together" projects have received great support from many households. During the year, people contributed money and land to build 3 rural traffic projects. Implementing the poverty reduction and job creation program, the Hamlet Front Committee has coordinated with branches, unions, and the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to lend capital to poor and near-poor households to invest in production and escape poverty sustainably.

Up to now, the hamlet still has 3 poor households and 7 near-poor households. The hamlet regularly cares for, visits and gives gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances. During the year, the hamlet mobilized to give more than 550 gifts, worth more than 160 million VND; built 1 Great Unity house, 1 charity house, worth 130 million VND.

Rewarding individuals with outstanding achievements in the Campaign for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas in 2024

In 2025, the Ong Let Hamlet Residential Area Front Work Committee set out many targets in implementing the contents of the Movement for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas, Civilized Urban Areas and Hamlet Residential Area Conventions.

Secretary of Vinh Hung District Party Committee - Nguyen Anh Viet acknowledged and commended the efforts of Ong Let hamlet people in implementing the 5 contents of the Campaign for the whole people to unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas. He suggested that Ong Let hamlet people need to promote the achieved results, continue to do more specific and practical work to improve material and spiritual life, share and support people to overcome difficulties in life, contributing to the development of Tuyen Binh commune.

Giving gifts to poor households

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province supported 15 million VND for Ong Let Hamlet Residential Area; Vinh Hung District People's Committee presented a Great Solidarity house worth 80 million VND to a household facing housing difficulties and presented gifts to 20 households in difficult circumstances.

In addition, many collectives, individuals and households were awarded certificates of merit for their outstanding achievements in the Movement for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas in 2024./.
