In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the National Defense Industry College has led and directed the School to organize and implement its tasks well, creating an important breakthrough ineducation and training.

Notably, the School has organized training to ensure correct and sufficient content and programs for the subjects, completing the task of training more than 2,600 students according to the target assigned by superiors; completing the records and procedures for reporting the proposal to open 4 new college-level majors.

Strengthen and expand training in specialized professions for the defense industry and the entire army; organize defense and security training and education for more than 6,300 students of affiliated schools and foster defense and security knowledge for subjects according to regulations; complete the development of 27 programs serving education and training work.

The aspects of education and training, administration, technology, finance, testing, administrative reform, science and technology, logistics, etc. are implemented synchronously, closely, and with quality. Party and political activities are implemented comprehensively and effectively.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the National Defense Industry College determined to focus on building the School in a formal, synchronous direction, training many levels, qualifications, and many specific professions to serve the defense industry and the entire army, gradually preparing good conditions to meet the task of training high-quality professions to serve the defense industry.

Develop a strategy to develop the School into a prestigious training center; improve the quality of training for technical, professional and vocational staff.

Speaking at the Congress, Lieutenant General Ho Quang Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the General Department of Defense Industry, requested that in the coming term, the School Party Committee needs to focus on leadership and direction to successfully complete the task of education and training; resolutely implement the breakthrough of "innovating, improving the quality, content, and training programs for the subjects", "promoting scientific research associated with training and digital transformation in the school".

Perform well the examination and ensure the quality of education and training; organize exams, tests, and evaluate results in accordance with regulations, objectively, and practically. Leaders carry out well the investment in improving training potential, focusing on modernizing lecture halls, practice workshops, laboratories, training grounds, and training grounds. Focus on leading the development of a team of teachers and educational managers with sufficient quantity and quality assurance.
