The 1st Congress of Delegates of Hung Yen Provincial Business Association

Attending the Congress were comrades: Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Than, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and nearly 800 delegates representing the business community of Hung Yen province.

Up to now, the provincial business community has made strong progress in both quantity and quality, with nearly 30,000 enterprises and branches and representative offices registered for operation. During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Provincial Business Association has successfully completed its tasks and objectives: playing the role of a bridge between Party committees and authorities at all levels with enterprises to convey aspirations, support in resolving difficulties and obstacles for production and business; contributing to improving the investment and business environment; supporting training and improving corporate governance; encouraging enterprises to actively participate in social security work and carry out the political tasks of the province.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Provincial Business Association aims to build an increasingly strong organization, truly a common home for the business community. Building the business community, the Hung Yen business community is increasingly strong, integrated and sustainable development, contributing with the Party Committee and the People to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Strive to recruit new members to increase by 30% or more; more than 80% of member businesses carry out digital transformation in production and business activities.

The Congress heard the announcement of the decisions of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province on allowing the merger of the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association (old) and the Thai Binh Provincial Business Association into the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association; the decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province approving the Project of merging the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association and the Thai Binh Provincial Business Association into the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association, appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association, term 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial Business Association in the past term. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Comrade Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Provincial Business Association should regularly consolidate and improve the organization, attract more businesses to participate, bringing legitimate and practical benefits to members. Continue to promote the achievements and proactiveness and creativity to contribute wisdom and experience from the vivid practices of businesses. Promote the role as a representative organization of the business community, actively participate in contributing ideas to the process of perfecting institutions, building and enforcing laws of the province. Thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development, focusing on building a team of dynamic, creative, and highly competitive Hung Yen businesses and entrepreneurs. Promote diplomatic activities and international integration, considering this an important channel to expand economic, trade and investment cooperation with domestic and foreign partners.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Toan emphasized that Hung Yen province always identifies the business community, entrepreneurs and the Provincial Business Association as an important force, playing a core role in the socio-economic development of the province. With the spirit of "the government accompanies businesses", the province will continue to strengthen dialogue, remove difficulties, improve the investment environment, and create the most favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably.

Comrade Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, awarded the Second Class Labor Medal of the President to the Provincial Business Association.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented a banner from the Provincial Party Executive Committee to the Provincial Business Association.

Comrade Dang Thanh Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board presented the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee to the collectives.

Leaders of the Provincial Business Association presented a symbolic donation of 500 million VND.

At the Congress, the Provincial Business Association was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the President; a banner from the Provincial Party Committee; and an Emulation Flag from the Provincial People's Committee. On this occasion, the Provincial Business Association awarded 500 million VND through the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to support the construction of houses for 16 families of martyrs from Hung Yen who heroically sacrificed at Long Dai ferry (Quang Tri province) and to support families affected by storm No. 10.
