Mr. Hoang Minh emphasized that improving the quality of human resources in science, technology and innovation to meet the needs of socio -economic development and international economic integration is a very urgent task.

“Universities also need to prioritize appropriate investment in improving the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate training, developing high-level human resources in science, technology and innovation,” Mr. Minh suggested.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong - Chairman of the Board of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy - said that it is necessary to adapt public-private partnerships between state educational institutions and businesses to have support products to serve creative ideas.

“Enterprises can develop universities, thereby supporting the ideas and initiatives of teachers, lecturers and students. Then we will implement them for different fields of study and coordinate the development of materials to implement previously researched projects,” Ms. Phuong shared.

Ms. Phuong said that Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy strengthens international cooperation and academic exchanges to improve the research and innovation capacity of its faculty and students, towards international standards.
