University of Social Sciences and Humanities introduces additional criteria for admission scores

TPO - The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on the afternoon of August 24, announced additional criteria with standard scores, in the method of considering high school graduation exam scores and HSA capacity assessment scores.

The school said it added additional criteria for clarity, because it had not previously announced the standard score, due to haste.

Sub-criteria for admission scores to majors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are specifically as follows:

*Note: Sub-criteria (Applicable to candidates with admission scores equal to admission scores) take into account the order of preferences.

Previously, the school had an incident when it "misspelled the subject name" in the D66 group. In some initial announcements, this group included Math, Literature and Economic and Legal Education (a new subject according to the 2018 general education program).

But when the scores were announced, D66 included Math, Literature, and Civic Education (old subjects, according to the 2006 program). Therefore, many candidates had extra points but failed.

At noon on August 24, the school said it was asking for the Ministry of Education and Training's opinion on how to handle the situation, and instructed candidates to send information before 5:00 p.m. on August 26 for support.
