Lac Hong University continues to be ranked in the influential university rankings.

(DN) - On June 18, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the Impact Ranking 2025. Accordingly, Vietnam has 16 universities listed in this ranking, an increase of 3 schools compared to last year. Lac Hong University continues to be on the list.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and the following universities:FPT , National Economics, Nguyen Tat Thanh are all in the 301-400 group, the highest among Vietnamese universities. Duy Tan University and Ton Duc Thang University are in the 401-600 group. Van Lang University is in the 601-800 group. Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Hanoi National University are both in the 801-1,000 group. The remaining universities (including Lac Hong University) are in the 1,001+ and 1,500+ groups.

THE's rankings evaluate schools on their implementation of the United Nations' 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) such as: gender equality, climate protection, good health and well-being, quality education , cooperation for development goals, reducing inequality...

THE is currently one of the four largest university ranking organizations in the world , alongside QS, ARWU, CWUR and US News.

This year's impact ranking features around 2,500 schools from more than 130 countries and territories.

Western Sydney University in Australia took the top spot for the fourth consecutive year, followed by the University of Manchester in the UK and Kyungpook National University in South Korea. Joint fourth place was held by Griffith University in the UK and Tasmania in Australia.

In the Southeast Asia region, the countries with the most ranked schools are the Philippines (113), Thailand (83) and Indonesia (71).
