Hue University of Law enrolls 1,400 students, rewards 30 million VND for valedictorian

Next school year, the University of Law (Hue University) will enroll 1,400 students and reward 30 million VND to the top student.

On May 27, the University of Law (Hue University) announced its plan for regular university enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year with a total of 1,400 quotas for two training majors: law and economic law, each major with 700 quotas.

The school applies three admission methods: direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission based on high school transcripts with the average score of three subjects in the admission combination of four semesters (grades 11 and 12) reaching 18 points or higher; and admission based on the score of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

The admission combinations include A00, C00, C19, C20, D01 and D66. This year, the school applies a priority point policy for candidates with outstanding academic achievements, provincial-level excellent student awards, valid international English certificates (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC) or studying at specialized schools or bilingual classes.

Total score does not exceed 3 points on a scale of 30.

Admission scores do not distinguish between subject combinations, do not use foreign language exemption scores and will apply the conversion rules between methods according to the general regulations of Hue University.

The top student of the school in this year's entrance exam will receive a prize worth 30 million VND, and the runner-up will receive a prize of 20 million VND.

In addition, the school also offers many scholarships to encourage candidates with high results.

The estimated tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year is 16 million VND per student per year, with an annual increase (if any) not exceeding 20%.

In the 2023 admission season, the standard score according to the national high school exam scores of the two majors is 19 points, while the method of considering transcripts is 21 points. In 2024, both methods have a standard score of 21 points.
