Currently, Tay Bac University has training programs at master's, university and college levels; in addition, the school also carries out the task of training Vietnamese for Laotian international students in the university preparatory program; training high school students at Chu Van An Primary, Secondary and High Schools... According to the survey results in 2023, about 85% of the school's students and graduates have found suitable jobs.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Tay Bac University will continue to build a team of highly qualified staff and teachers; invest in modern facilities, improve training programs in an application-oriented manner, and serve the needs of the labor market. Adjust the structure, diversify training and development types, and create a modern, open, and friendly teaching and learning environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the achievements of teachers and students of Tay Bac University. At the same time, he requested the school to perform well the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year with the theme: "Innovation, quality improvement, solidarity, discipline" ; continue to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on human resource development in Son La province for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030; pay attention to building a team of lecturers with good political qualities and high qualifications; innovate teaching and learning methods; in the field of scientific research and technology transfer, it is necessary to pay attention to the fields and practical issues of the province and the region... Deserving to be the school that trains the main and quality human resources for Son La province and the Northwest region.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 8 individuals; recognized 1 individual as a Ministry-level emulation fighter; the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 11 individuals; the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education awarded a certificate of merit to 1 group; the Provincial Association for Promoting Education awarded scholarships to students with high academic achievements. At the opening ceremony, units and enterprises awarded 65 scholarships to K65 students with difficult circumstances and good academic achievements./.
