Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports solemnly celebrated Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 and received the certificate of educational quality accreditation.

In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country towards Vietnamese Teachers' Day, on the morning of November 19, 2025, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports solemnly held the 43rd Anniversary Ceremony of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025) and received the Certificate of Quality Assessment of Higher Education Institutions, Cycle 2, along with the UPM comparison ranking results of 4 Plus stars at the educational institution level and 5 stars for the Sports Training training program.

The ceremony is an opportunity for generations of staff, lecturers, students and athletes of the School to review the glorious tradition of "Respecting Teachers" and at the same time acknowledge the remarkable developments in training and quality assurance of the School.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong spoke at the ceremony.

The ceremony was honored with the presence of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong; Comrade Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet - Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration; Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Loan - Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology, Training and Environment. On the guest side, there were also representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh, leaders of Dong Nguyen ward, representatives of the Center for Education Quality Assessment (VNU Hanoi) and the UPM Institute of Innovation.

On the School side, there was the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Party Secretary, School Principal; comrades in the School Council, Board of Directors; former school leaders through the periods, veteran teachers and all staff, lecturers, students and athletes.

At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the School reviewed the nation's tradition of respecting teachers and the history of formation and development of Bac Ninh University of Sports - the cradle of training high-quality sports human resources of the whole country.

Over the past 65 years, the School has trained tens of thousands of scientists , coaches, and sports teachers, making important contributions to the development of Vietnamese sports. These achievements are thanks to the silent and persistent dedication of many generations of teachers - dedicated "ferrymen" who always put "heart" and responsibility first.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Education Quality Assessment Council, Center for Education Quality Assessment, Hanoi National University awarded the second cycle of educational institution quality assessment certificate to the School.

In 2025, the School will continue to make its mark with outstanding achievements in accreditation, quality assurance, digital transformation and innovation in higher education. Achieving the second cycle of educational institution quality accreditation standards and ranking UPM 4-star Plus - a 5-star program has affirmed the School's position, prestige and quality commitment to society and the learning community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong acknowledged and praised the achievements that Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports has achieved in recent times. The Deputy Minister emphasized that in the context of strong innovation in higher education, the University needs to:

• Continue to promote digital transformation and innovation in management and training;
• Strengthening the connection between training and labor needs and practical needs of the sports industry;
• Building a team of teachers with high professional capacity, enthusiasm and desire to contribute;
• Expand promotion and communication to affirm the position of the School in the Vietnamese and regional higher education system.

The Deputy Minister believes that Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports will continue to promote its glorious tradition, excellently complete all assigned tasks and make important contributions to the cause of training human resources for the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong awarded certificates of merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to units with excellent performance in the 2024 school year.

During the ceremony, the School announced the awards for groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in teaching, scientific research and professional activities. This is a worthy recognition for the persistent efforts of the staff and lecturers throughout the past school year.

On behalf of the school's students, student Bui Thanh Huyen, a student of Golf class, K60 of the Sports Training Faculty, representing all students and athletes, also sent deep gratitude to the teachers - those who always inspire, light up dreams and accompany students on the path of sports career.

This year's November 20th celebration is not only an occasion to show gratitude to teachers but also an important milestone, recognizing the efforts to innovate and improve the quality of education of Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports. The success of the ceremony continues to affirm the maturity, solidarity and determination of the entire school in the journey to build a dynamic, modern, national-standard and regional-oriented training environment.

The ceremony ended in a solemn, warm atmosphere filled with faith and expectations for the new development path of the School.
