The industry with the highest score is marketing with 25 points; followed by finance - banking, Chinese language, food technology with 24.5 points; the industries of chemical engineering technology, seafood processing technology, textile technology, biotechnology, etc. with 20 points.

In the admission method based on the HCM City National University's competency assessment exam scores, the benchmark score is from 600 to 750 points. Marketing, international business, e-commerce, logistics and supply chain management are the majors with the highest benchmark score of 750 points, the remaining majors range from 600 to 700 points.

As for the direct admission method according to the separate 2024 enrollment plan of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the standard score for all majors is 24 points.
