Dalat University has 5 new associate professors and 6 new doctors

Celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Dalat University honored 5 new associate professors and 6 new doctors.

On November 19, on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Dalat University honored 5 new associate professors who were recently recognized by the State Council of Professors in Decision No. 79/QD-HDGSNN dated November 19, 2025 and 6 new doctors who completed the training program and were awarded degrees.

On this occasion, the school officially welcomed 1 associate professor and 5 new PhDs to work, continuing to add to the school's high-quality scientific human resources. As of November 2025, Dalat University has nearly 500 staff and lecturers, with a reasonable structure between the teaching staff and administrative staff. The proportion of lecturers with a PhD degree or higher is over 43%, including 1 professor, 23 associate professors and nearly 150 PhDs participating in teaching and research.

Up to now, Dalat University has 14 training programs that have met quality accreditation standards, including 5 programs according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, and 9 programs according to the standards of the Southeast Asian University Quality Assurance Network (AUN - QA).

In particular, over the past years, Dalat University has closely coordinated with Lam Dong province to organize 9 training courses for 42 Lao students from Lam Dong's two sister provinces, Champasak and Bolikhamxay, with many majors. As a result, 13 students have graduated from university, of which 11 students have returned to Laos to contribute to the development of their homeland, and 2 students have continued to stay for graduate studies.

Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, hopes that the staff and lecturers will continue to build Da Lat University into a modern, integrated university.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, respectfully sent to the teachers his deep feelings and gratitude for their silent but extremely great contributions to the education cause of the province. Lam Dong Provincial leaders hope that the staff and lecturers will continue to build Da Lat University into a modern, integrated, multidisciplinary university, worthy of being the intellectual center of the Central and Central Highlands regions.
