Accordingly, from the 13th - April 18 , 2025 , UTH delegation led by Associate Professor - Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Rector, led a visit and work with leading Chinese research partners and enterprises in the field of high-speed railways and urban railways. UTH's business trip was highly appreciated by partners for its topicality, urgency and effectiveness.
Cooperation in developing modern technology and equipment
UTH signed an agreement with Beijing Zhongji Huading Company to build a 300m² Railway Technology Research and Development Exhibition Hall with a total investment of up to 17.5 billion VND. This will be an important experimental space for practical training and in-depth R&D, expected to be put into operation in August 2025 .

Intensive training links with leading universities
UTH established a comprehensive cooperative relationship with Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) - a leading unit in high-speed rail training. The two sides agreed to implement a program of lecturer training, student exchange and publishing specialized textbooks that meet international standards. UTH continues to work with BJTU Publishing House to promote cooperation in publishing teaching materials in the field of high-speed rail .

Develop modern training and practice centers
UTH, Tianjin Railway Technology Institute and Beijing HollySysEducation Company agreed to establish a training center for high-speed railway operations, dispatching and signaling, with a total investment of up to 56 billion VND .
Tianjin Institute of Railway Technology and Engineering participates in training practical modules for UTH lecturers; together with Beijing HollySys Education Technology Company, it receives and trains UTH students to participate in the enterprise semester at Tianjin Institute of Railway Technology and Engineering.

Specialist training and in-depth laboratory development
UTH cooperates with Beijing HollySys Education Technology Company and Zhengzhou Railway Engineering Technology Institute to realize three core contents: Building, perfecting and developing high-speed rail and urban rail training programs for UTH; Implementing the reception and training of UTH experts in short-term courses (3 months), starting from July 2025 ; Cooperating to develop high-speed rail construction engineering laboratories.

Speaking at the working sessions, Associate Professor - Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized: " International cooperation is the key to help UTH quickly access advanced technology, standardize training programs in a practical and modern direction. This is the foundation for us to realize the strategy of developing a team of high-speed railway engineers to meet the requirements of modernizing national transport infrastructure, in accordance with the orientation of the Party and State ".
In the context that Vietnam and China have just reached a high-level agreement on enhancing cross-border railway connectivity (14 - April 15 , 2025 ), UTH's cooperation efforts are even more strategic, contributing to promoting the integration, innovation and sustainable development of Vietnam's transport industry.
