Ho Chi Minh City University of Science announces 2023 admission scores

The University of Science (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has just announced the early admission scores for 2023.

The school announced the standard scores for Method 2: Priority for direct admission and priority for admission according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University; Method 4: Admission based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Exam and Method 6: Admission based on international language certificates combined with high school results.

The school's early admission scores increased in many majors, ranging from 20-50 points compared to last year. Of which, the computer science major (advanced program) had a benchmark score based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment of 1,035 points, the highest score ever for the school and for majors under Ho Chi Minh City National University. Also in Method 2, the benchmark score was a round 10.

In this method, the highest admission score is for Computer Science with 1,035/1,200 points. In addition, Artificial Intelligence also takes 1,001 points.

Method 6: Admission based on international language certificates combined with high school academic results:

The list of qualified candidates announced by the school does not include the requirement of having graduated from high school and the school will check this requirement when receiving the candidate's application. Candidates can look up the list of qualified candidates for methods 2, 4, and 6 on the school's website.

From July 10 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, eligible candidates must register, adjust, and supplement their admission wishes for majors/groups of majors or training programs online on the system or on the national public service portal and only be admitted to 1 wish in order of highest priority.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 22, the school will announce the official admission results for candidates entering university in 2023. After the official admission results are announced, successful candidates are required to confirm their admission online (phase 1) on the System before 5:00 p.m. on September 6.

From September 4 to September 8, the school will announce the detailed admission schedule for each candidate during this time. Admission procedures will be announced no later than August 20 on the school's website.
