University of Social Sciences and Humanities re-enrolls group C

(NLDO)- University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced admission to block C00 for all 28 training majors.

After the sudden announcement of removing the C00 block combination in the admission of many majors, causing anxiety and frustration among candidates and parents, on June 7, a representative of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, said that in order to create more opportunities for candidates to register for the entrance exam to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities this year, the school held a meeting and decided to adjust the admission information.

Specifically, the school opened additional groups C03 (Math, Literature, History) and C04 (Math, Literature, Geography) for the school's 26 training majors.

At the same time, the C00 group was added to 17 training majors of the school, including: Journalism, Social Work, Cinema and Popular Arts, Oriental Studies, Korean Studies, Management Science, Public Relations, Information Management, Tourism & Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, Office Management, International Studies, Psychology, Information - Library, Cultural Studies, Vietnamese Studies, Sociology.

The school representative said that according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates only need to register for the major and school, the admission system will automatically choose the combination and admission method for which the candidate has the highest score.

With the newly adjusted admission information, candidates will be given the best conditions to be able to register for the school entrance exam.

Previously, many candidates and parents reacted to the fact that some universities suddenly stopped considering the C00 combination right before the high school graduation exam.

On June 6, the Ministry of Education and Training sent a document to training institutions regarding the review and publication of information.

Specifically, schools must review admission methods and combinations suitable for the training programs, majors, and groups of majors for each method to ensure fairness; not affecting the rights of candidates, especially at present, candidates have completed registration for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Schools must be accountable for changes related to admission methods and combinations.
