This policy is within the framework of the Gia Lai Province High-Tech Human Resource Development Project for the period 2025 - 2030, with the goal of training at least 7,500 highly qualified engineers, bachelors and experts in the above fields, meeting the needs of high-tech industrial development in Vietnam.
Accordingly, students studying in the four key majors of the Project, including: Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (major in Microchip Design), Engineering Physics (major in Microchip Processing, Packaging and Testing Technology), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Technology (major in Cyber Security), will enjoy many support policies.
Specifically, students can borrow credit from the Social Policy Bank to pay tuition fees, with the interest rate supported 100% by the province during the entire study period.
In case of commitment to work in Gia Lai province for at least 3 years after graduation, the province will pay all tuition fees.
In addition, students also have the opportunity to receive scholarships from the school, partner businesses, Vallet scholarships; dormitory support, internships at large technology businesses and priority recruitment according to specific local policies.
Quy Nhon University was assigned a core role in implementing the Project, with a shared semiconductor technology laboratory system worth 120 billion VND - considered one of the most modern laboratories in the Central Highlands region.
The implementation of the Project not only contributes to building high-quality human resources to serve the development of high-tech industry in Gia Lai and the Central Highlands region, but also opens up attractive learning, employment and start-up opportunities for students right from their university days.
