Phan Van Tri High School mobilized more than 75 million VND to support students in especially difficult circumstances.

(CTO) - Mr. Nguyen Huu Nha, Vice Principal of Phan Van Tri High School (Phong Dien District) and Mr. Do Ngoc Quoi, Secretary of the Party Committee of My Khanh Commune, Phong Dien District, recently visited and presented support money to the family of student Danh Tran Quoc Kiet, the amount of money is 41,557,000 VND, including a savings book of 30 million VND, the rest is in cash.

Previously, also in April 2025, Phan Van Tri High School launched a donation program from teachers, students in the entire unit, parents, and benefactors and transferred the first amount of 33,680,000 VND to Danh Tran Quoc Kiet's family.

Thus, up to now, Phan Van Tri High School has mobilized 75,237,000 VND to support the family of student Danh Tran Quoc Kiet.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Mi, the homeroom teacher of Danh Tran Quoc Kiet, said: Quoc Kiet is currently studying in class 12A8, is a good and gentle student, always helps friends, and has good academic performance. Currently, Kiet and his younger brother Danh Tran Quoc Dien (studying in class 10A6, Giai Xuan High School) are living with their 72-year-old grandmother in My Loc hamlet, My Khanh commune, Phong Dien district.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Nha, Vice Principal of Phan Van Tri High School visited and encouraged Danh Tran Quoc Kiet.

Kiet's family is currently in an extremely difficult situation. Kiet's father passed away in 2022 due to a serious illness. Kiet's mother works as a factory worker in Ho Chi Minh City and sends money back to take care of Kiet and his siblings. At the end of March 2025, on the way to work, Kiet's mother had a traffic accident and passed away on April 2. Kiet's grandmother is old and every day she folds clothes for a laundry shop near her house, earning about 100,000 VND/day. The family has no other income.

Danh Tran Quoc Kiet is trying hard to overcome difficulties and study hard to prepare for the upcoming important exam.

The High School Graduation Exam is approaching, Quoc Kiet hopes that after passing the final exam, he will go to vocational school to take care of his family.
