On September 20, Trung Vuong Primary School (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) related to the accusation of using dirty food in students' meals issued a notice to temporarily stop organizing meals for boarding students from September 22, with the reason being that the food suppliers for the school have simultaneously requested to stop delivering.
According to the announcement, the school currently does not have a new source of supply to ensure meals for students, so organizing boarding meals will only resume when a food supplier is invited and procedures are completed according to regulations.
The units supplying raw materials for the boarding meals of Trung Vuong Primary School submitted a request to stop providing food from September 19, after parents of students and people working in the school kitchen during the 2024-2025 school year met with the Principal to confront about the quality of food used for a long time, witnessed by the leaders of the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat.
During the suspension period, the school will notify parents to proactively pick up their children immediately after the end of the school day according to the school schedule.
This move took place after Mr. Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, directed relevant agencies to thoroughly resolve the accusation that Trung Vuong Primary School used dirty food in the meals of 720 boarding students.
At the same time, Mr. Tuan requested to rectify the organization of school meals in the whole province and standardize the process of ensuring food safety and hygiene.
