• VIETNAMESE FLAVOR JUICES AND FRUITS
“Our TS Food factory is located in Hoa Nam commune, Di Linh district, specializing in producing bottled smoothies for export. We are the children of Di Linh, purchasing and processing agricultural products of Lam Dong people in particular and Vietnamese agricultural products in general,” said Mr. Nguyen Vu Hi Hoan - Director of TS Food Factory.
Established in 2018, TS Food was initially targeted for export by its founders. Therefore, the company's machinery system was invested in with a closed chain and strict standards. "We specialize in producing pure fruit juices and smoothies. Such as watermelon, dragon fruit, mango... are juiced and bottled for export. In addition, there are other types of frozen fruits depending on the market of each country," Director Nguyen Vu Hi Hoan informed. According to Mr. Hoan, the Chinese market favors passion fruit, while mango is preferred by the markets of Korea, the United States, France, Canada... Muslim markets such as Malaysia and the Middle East favor most types of Vietnamese fruit.
“The fruit is put into the cleaning system, squeezed to remove the pulp, and cold sterilized using modern technology. Customers can keep the juice cold at 5 degrees Celsius for 3 months while still retaining its fresh flavor. We choose natural preservation technology, preserving the original flavor, bringing customers the best experience of Vietnamese tropical fruits," said Mr. Nguyen Vu Hi Hoan. Every year, TS Food purchases and processes 3,300 tons of fresh fruit, mainly fruits from Lam Dong, the Central Highlands and the Mekong Delta. Passion fruit, Lam Dong durian, mango, Southwest watermelon, fruits with Vietnamese flavors are bottled by TS Food and widely exported to large markets.
One thing that TS Food is proud of is the company's commitment to local farmers. "If farmers are often worried about the situation of good harvests and low prices, growing fruit but not being able to sell it, TS Food always accompanies farmers. We buy hundreds of tons from cooperatives, farmer groups, down to a few kilos from small households, we are willing to buy any amount for farmers," Mr. Hoan informed.
• QUALITY STANDARDS AND HUMAN RESOURCES TRAINING
Mr. Nguyen Vu Hi Hoan added that TS Food's machinery is very modern, all of which are advanced agricultural processing systems in the world. For example, TS Food's HPP (cold storage) system has modern preservation technology, preserving the original flavor and quality of the product.
To meet the quality requirements of international partners, TS Food has built a strict production process such as BRC Certificate - the UK's global food safety standard; ISO 22 000: 2018 quality management system, ensuring maximum elimination of hazards in the processing process. For some special markets such as the Muslim and Jewish markets, TS Food has applied Halal certification (certification of conformity for Muslims) and Kosher certification (certification of conformity for Jews), ensuring that TS Food branded goods are suitable for all countries as well as people of all religions. "Like Malaysia, a market very close to Vietnam, we must have Halal certification because most Malaysians are Muslims, Halal will help consumers not to worry about the origin and processing process of the product", Mr. Hi Hoan shared.
In addition to advanced machinery and production processes, TS Food is also a company that pays great attention to training and maintaining high-quality human resources. Ms. Vu Thi Chien, living in Village 2, Hoa Nam Commune, Di Linh District, has worked at TS Food since the company was established. She shared: “The income from the company is very stable, the work is steady, and the benefits are very satisfactory. The company also regularly trains workers on food safety and hygiene, ensuring strict implementation of the production process, eliminating hazards so that product quality meets standards. I myself work in QC - Quality Management - and am regularly trained and receive new standards in the country as well as export markets.”
One thing that leaves a good impression on the locality is that TS Food is a completely closed factory, which does not affect the surrounding environment. Mr. Nguyen Vu Hi Hoan said that after squeezing or peeling the fruit, the company provides products such as pulp and fruit peels to farms for animal feed or compost, and does not release them into the environment. The water used in the factory is also cleaned and recirculated, and there is no production wastewater.
Ms. Doan Thi Thu - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Nam commune, Di Linh district also assessed that TS Food is a business that purchases agricultural products for local residents, creates jobs as well as protects the environment very well, contributing to stabilizing the output of Hoa Nam agricultural products.
