Sa Pa Regional Medical Center: Training on food safety knowledge for communes and wards in 2025

On November 14, Sa Pa Regional Medical Center coordinated with the Food Safety Department, Lao Cai Provincial Department of Health to organize a training course on food safety knowledge for members of the Food Safety Steering Committee of wards and communes in 2025.

At the training session, the trainees listened to the lecturers of the Food Safety Department impart their experiences and discuss the following contents: General information about food poisoning, some directive documents of the Party, Government, Provincial Party Committee, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee on food safety, the work of granting certificates of qualified food safety facilities for food service establishments, the work of inspecting and handling food poisoning, etc.

After the training session, 100% of the Steering Committee members had a firm grasp of food safety knowledge and legal documents to implement in their localities to raise awareness of food safety in food production and business activities, and prevent food poisoning in the area.
