On this year's occasion, the entire Vietnamese nation turned their hearts to Ho Chi Minh City. From rehearsals and rehearsals to art shows, fireworks, 3D mapping, drone shows... all attracted the attention of a large number of people. Therefore, it was not surprising that from the evening of April 29, the Me Linh Square area (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) - where the celebratory cannon shot took place, the gathering place of parade route No. 2 and with a wide enough view to admire the helicopters and fighter jets - was packed with people. |

Joining the crowd of people attending the “national concert”, I chose the vivo V50 Lite as my companion - a smartphone famous for its powerful 6,500 mAh “super battery” and 90W fast charging. Because the activities of the program took place one after another, I needed a phone with a large enough battery capacity in case I couldn’t find a charging location. In addition, the vivo V50 Lite also achieved a 5-star SGS drop-proof certification and military-grade shockproof, giving me peace of mind when using it in crowded areas. |

As dawn broke, more and more people gathered at Bach Dang Wharf. After the 21-gun salute - a national welcome ceremony, people took the opportunity to take check-in photos and choose the best location to prepare to admire the helicopters and fighter jets flying over the city. |

Ton Duc Thang Street does not have a large LED screen, so I chose to watch the event livestream on the Government Information fanpage. The 6.77-inch screen has a local maximum brightness of 1,800 nits, giving me a comfortable experience even under the harsh sunlight. Through the livestream, I can grasp the progress of the event to balance my time and plan to follow the next programs. |

As 10 helicopters flew over the city center in a 3-4-3 formation, people cheered and waved their hands at the fluttering Party and national flags. The atmosphere became even more explosive when the Yak130 and Su30-MK2 fighter jets dropped heat traps in the sky, creating a scene not unlike a Hollywood blockbuster. |

The vivo V50 Lite's camera cluster includes a main camera using a Sony IMX882 sensor with a resolution of up to 50 MP, plus an ultra-wide-angle and telephoto camera with background blur. Thanks to that, I can flexibly transform to take photos with the most satisfactory composition. Choosing to stand on Ton Duc Thang Street was in my calculations from the beginning, with the desire to meet directly Senior Lieutenant Le Hoang Hiep, a representative officer of the 5-army - the owner of the "absolutely cinematic" moments that have recently taken over the internet. |

At the end of the parade, the soldiers stayed behind to thank the people for not being afraid of the long distance, regardless of time and weather to accompany the great national holiday. Being present at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country is a "one-of-a-kind" experience that makes anyone feel lucky and proud. |

In addition to the main ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City is also the venue for many other side events, typically the largest fireworks display ever with 30 launch points on the same evening. To prepare for this event, I chose to take a lunch break at a coffee shop on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City). This used to be one of the shelters of the legendary Saigon commando force. Coming here, I not only enjoyed food and drinks, but also had the opportunity to learn more about the history of the resistance war of my ancestors. |

Although I have watched many review videos on social networks, I was still excited for the first time to experience exploring the bunkers of the Saigon special forces in the past. In the dark bunkers are many maps, equipment, weapons, secret letters... In low light conditions, I used the night mode on the vivo V50 Lite combined with the Aura light ring to work. These secret bunkers impressed many international tourists. They all felt lucky to come to Vietnam on this special occasion. |

The spectacular fireworks display on the evening of April 30 concluded the "once in 50 years" event of the Vietnamese people. Returning home after 24 hours of immersing myself in the proud atmosphere, I was surprised to see that the vivo V50 Lite still had more than 15% battery left. According to the company's announcement, after 5 years of use, this battery still retains more than 80% of its capacity. The stable performance and durability of this smartphone helped me capture unforgettable moments, arousing the honor of living in a peace that our ancestors had to pay for with blood and bones, and the luck of having the opportunity to be present in the city named after Uncle Ho on the great day. |
