Nearly 100 famous dishes participate in Hung Yen Province's Culinary Festival. The first Hung Yen Province Culinary Festival in 2024 takes place from April 17 to 19, with 60 booths bringing together nearly 100 famous culinary dishes of the province and provinces and cities in the Red River Delta cluster, and provinces associated with Hung Yen.

At Hung Yen Provincial Museum (Pham Bach Ho Street, Hien Nam Ward, Hung Yen City), on the morning of April 17, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen province solemnly held the opening ceremony of the first Hung Yen Provincial Culinary Festival in 2024.

Convergence of nearly 100 famous culinary dishes

Mr. Do Huu Nhan, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen province, said that Hung Yen is a province with many potentials and advantages for tourism development, located in the central region of the Northern Delta, surrounded by a dense network of rivers. Thanks to its favorable location, tropical monsoon climate, and the fertile alluvium of the Red River and Luoc River, Hung Yen has many diverse sources of products according to the rhythm of the seasons.

The Hung Yen Culinary Festival, held for the first time, is a typical tourism promotion activity of the province in 2024, aiming to honor, preserve and promote the cultural, culinary and tourism values ​​of the province, and effectively build and exploit the cultural, culinary and tourism brand. With a scale of 60 booths, the event brings together nearly 100 famous culinary dishes of Hung Yen past and present as well as typical cuisines of provinces and cities in the Red River Delta cluster and associated provinces such as Nghe An, Son La, Ha Tinh, etc.
