Accordingly, the MAJ 2025 Organizing Committee has sent a notice to Tung Duong and the male singer of "Rebirth" confirmed that he will come to Japan to attend the awards ceremony taking place on May 21 and 22 at the ROHM Theater in Kyoto at the invitation of the Organizing Committee. The awards ceremony will honor Japanese and international music artists in 60 award categories, broadcast live on Japan's National Television NHK.
This award is given on the basis of cooperation between the MAJ organizing committee and the Dedication Award of the Sports and Culture Newspaper. This is the first time a Vietnamese artist has received this honor, marking an important step in the journey of bringing Vietnamese music to the world.
MAJ 2025 awards are based on objective data from the top prestigious music charts in Japan such as: Oricon, Billboard Japan, JASRAC... combined with votes from more than 5,000 experts in the music industry, including artists, producers, record label employees, critics, journalists, publishers, international judges...
Singer Tung Duong is considered an artist with a musical orientation that meets the award criteria, has a strong creative mark and has a profound influence on musical life.
With over 20 years of musical activities, Tung Duong has always strived to innovate, experiment with many genres of music and constantly improve himself. He is also the artist who holds the record of 14 times winning the Devotion Music Award - an award recognizing outstanding contributions to the popular music life organized by the Sports & Culture Newspaper.
Upon receiving the good news, the male singer expressed his emotion and pride: "This is not only a great honor for me personally, but also the pride of Vietnamese music, of artists who always strive to preserve and spread national cultural values to the world . I am happy to contribute a small part to the journey of bringing Vietnamese music closer to international friends, so that melodies and lyrics imbued with Vietnamese identity can resound on big stages, touching the hearts of those who have never known my country."
