Youth of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front pioneers in digital transformation

The Congress seriously assessed and recognized the achievements, and outlined a breakthrough roadmap to transform movements from form to substance, affirming the vanguard role of youth in the process of digital transformation and modernization of the national administration.

Attending and giving a speech at the Congress, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga affirmed that, in the current period, the Youth Union plays a particularly important role in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views, especially in cyberspace. Therefore, the Youth Union needs to strongly innovate the forms of propaganda and political and ideological education in a diverse, lively and close-to-the-life direction for young people, thereby arousing the spirit of creativity and social responsibility of union members and young people.

According to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, in the context of comprehensive digital transformation, the Youth Union must be a pioneer in applying information technology, both to improve propaganda effectiveness and to build platforms serving the work of the Union and youth movements. Each member needs to be aware that he or she is a "cultural ambassador" on cyberspace, responsible for spreading good values, the image of friendly, benevolent and creative Vietnamese people.

Looking back at the period 2022-2025, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the Agency has recorded positive and comprehensive developments, in which the key factor is innovation in content and methods of operation. The Youth Union has proactively overcome many challenges in the context of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus and the fact that most of the Youth Union officials are part-time.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, this spirit of innovation has been elevated to a core strategy. The motto of action "Courage - Solidarity - Creativity - Pioneering digital transformation" has condensed the determination of the youth. The Congress identified breakthrough tasks, in which the top task is to pioneer comprehensive digital transformation, proactively master and participate in building the "Digital Front" platform.

To realize this goal, the Congress Resolution has set out very clear targets. Most notably, the establishment and effective maintenance of the "Youth Team for Digital Transformation" with the role of supporting cadres and civil servants in the Agency and directly participating in building the "Digital Front". In addition, 100% of union members and young people committed to participating in training programs, improving digital capacity, foreign language skills and international integration. The Youth Union also registered to undertake at least one Party-level youth project in the field of digital transformation and administrative reform. These solutions show a shift from awareness to concrete action, determined to make young people a leading force in applying technology and advising on new solutions.

The report presented at the Congress also pointed out that in the current era of strong digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) is not only an inevitable trend, but also a practical solution to help improve work efficiency, save time and increase labor productivity.

The second breakthrough and also a clear demonstration of the innovation in operating methods is the determination to "transform movements from form to substance, with products and measurable results". Instead of just organizing superficial activities, the Youth Union will focus on creating an environment for young people to practice, contribute and mature. One of the new solutions is to establish club models, groups, teams, and groups according to interests and expertise. Volunteer activities are also required to be substantial, focused, and key, with the target of organizing at least two major activities each year, of which one program is aimed at border areas and difficult areas.

With the organization consolidation, including 15 comrades in the Executive Committee and a clear and specific action strategy, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has truly opened a new development stage, promising to create real values, effectively contributing to the common cause of the agency and the work of the Front in the period of promoting national digital transformation.
