Commemorating the 725th death anniversary of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan

On the morning of October 11 (ie August 20 of the lunar calendar), the Management Board of the Tran Hung Dao Temple Historical and Cultural Relics in Nha Trang Ward held a ceremony to celebrate the 725th anniversary of the sanctification (death anniversary) of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (1300 - 2025). Attending were comrade Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of agencies, units, localities, and people in the province.

At the ceremony, representatives of the temple management board held a prayer opening ceremony to pray for national peace and prosperity; performed traditional rituals; offered incense and flowers to commemorate King Hung Dao.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates attending the ceremony reviewed the biography and great achievements of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. National hero Tran Quoc Tuan was born in 1228, belonging to the royal family of the Tran dynasty. Hung Dao Dai Vuong's life and career were closely linked to the resistance war against the Yuan-Mongol invaders of the Dai Viet people in the 13th century. With outstanding military talent, National Duke Tran Hung Dao wrote the Proclamation to encourage patriotism, hatred of the enemy, fighting spirit, and determination to destroy the enemy in all generals and soldiers. Throughout his life, Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan always put national interests above personal interests; devoted himself to nurturing national unity. On August 20, Canh Ty year (1300), Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan passed away in Van Kiep (now in Hai Phong city).

Nha Trang ward leaders offer incense to commemorate King Hung Dao.

The Tran Hung Dao Temple historical and cultural relic in Nha Trang ward was built in 1962, by the initiative of the North Vietnam Friendship Association. This is the address for people to worship Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan with a sincere heart, thereby contributing to educating the national moral traditions to the people through many generations. In 1995, the temple was ranked as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.

* On the same morning, the People's Committee of Phan Rang Ward coordinated with the Management Board of the Tran Dynasty Temple - Phan Rang to organize a ceremony to commemorate the 725th anniversary of the sanctification of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. Comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Phan Rang Ward attended and offered incense in memory.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Phan Rang ward leaders, temple management board and a large number of people performed traditional spiritual rituals, offered incense to commemorate and express gratitude for the great merit of Saint Tran.
