There will be many activities to celebrate the Kate Festival in 2025.

On October 11, Mr. Nguyen Tan An - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Family Management - Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the department has just issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the Kate Festival in 2025. This is the first year the province has implemented the project "Preserving and promoting the values ​​of the Kate Festival of the Cham people in the period 2025 - 2030". Therefore, the province will have many activities to support the Cham people in practicing their traditional rituals and beliefs. In addition, there will be a number of activities organized for the first time such as: Cham writing contest with the theme "Bright handwriting - Preserving the Cham soul" for students and teenagers; folk games; special art programs to celebrate the festival... All aim to preserve traditional cultural values, while aiming to promote them into unique festival tourism products of Khanh Hoa province.

The Kate Festival 2025 takes place from October 20 to 23, at the Cham temple and tower areas in the communes and wards of Phuoc Hau, Ninh Phuoc, Phuoc Huu, Ninh Hai, Thuan Nam, Do Vinh, Bao An. Notable activities include: the procession of Po Inư Nưgar costumes from the Raglai people in Phuoc Ha commune to the temple in Huu Duc village (Phuoc Huu commune) at 1:30 p.m. on October 20; the worship ceremony at Po Klong Garai tower, Po Rome tower and Po Inư Nưgar temple, starting at 6:30 a.m. on October 21.

In addition, there are also activities including: Organizing exhibition spaces on Cham culture, introducing artifacts, images, traditional crafts and customs of Cham people in the area of ​​Cham temples and towers; a special art program to welcome the Kate Festival taking place at 7:00 p.m. on October 20, at Huu Duc village stadium; an art program to welcome the Kate Festival 2025 taking place on the morning of October 21, at Cham temples, towers and Cham villages; competitions in folk games of tug of war, sack jumping, water jar carrying to overcome obstacles on October 21, at Po Klong Garai tower area...
