After more than 4 years of construction, the Au Co - Nghi Tam road expansion project (Tay Ho district, Hanoi) has entered the finishing stage. The project is expected to help relieve traffic congestion, ensuring traffic connection between the center of Hanoi (Hanoi Old Quarter and Ba Dinh District Administrative Center) and Noi Bai International Airport.

The project to expand the Au Co - Nghi Tam route in Tay Ho district (Hanoi), from the intersection of Thang Loi hotel to Nhat Tan bridge intersection with a length of 3.7 km, total investment of 544 billion VND. This route is part of the project to build an overpass at the intersection of An Duong - Thanh Nien road phase 2, invested by the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board. In the photo, on the right is the Au Co - Nghi Tam route (section near Thang Loi hotel), on the left (near West Lake) is the project to upgrade Xuan Dieu road with a length of nearly 1.1 km, which has just been completed.

Considered a very important route at the Northwestern gateway of the capital, the Au Co - Nghi Tam road expansion project is expected to help relieve traffic congestion and ensure traffic connection between the center of Hanoi (Hanoi Old Quarter and Ba Dinh District Administrative Center) and Noi Bai International Airport.

On the morning of September 27, the system of signs, traffic lights, median strips... was basically completed.

The lighting system is also completed.

The section passing through Quang An flower market - the largest flower market in Hanoi - is spacious, clean and free of dust.

The route has a cross-section of 26.5 m to 31 m (4-6 lanes depending on the section).

Parallel to the main road system, the system of 2 residential roads about 5m wide on both sides has also been completed with asphalt.

Currently, the contractor is continuing to complete the final tasks such as installing hard dividers and painting traffic lines on the road near the approach road to Nhat Tan Bridge.

Workers are also rushing to complete the railing system.

It is expected that the project will complete auxiliary items and be handed over and put into use on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 2024).
