Propagating the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue in Cam Ranh and Bac Cam Ranh wards

On July 16 and 17, in Cam Ranh and Bac Cam Ranh wards, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and Rescue and Search and Rescue (CNCH) - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police organized a conference to disseminate and guide the implementation of the 2024 Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue and the documents guiding its implementation. Attending the conference were leaders of the People's Committee, ward police; local police, specialized officers, heads and deputy heads of residential groups, captains and deputy captains of civil defense teams of the two wards.

Local police instructed people to use portable fire extinguishers to put out the fire.

At the conference, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department thoroughly grasped the new points of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Law compared to the 2001 Fire Prevention and Fighting Law. Notably, the scope of regulation was expanded, the responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals were clarified; additional regulations on the responsibilities of the People's Committees at the commune level in managing fire prevention and fighting according to the two-level local government model; reviewing and classifying establishments under management; plans for handling violations and strengthening inter-sectoral coordination. The conference also heard an introduction to the content of Decree No. 105 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures for implementing the law; Decree No. 106 of the Government on administrative sanctions in the field of fire prevention and fighting; 3 circulars of the Ministry of Public Security providing detailed instructions on related regulations. From July 1, 2025, these documents will officially take effect, with many new regulations on state management and responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and individuals inside and outside the People's Public Security force regarding fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue.

The leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department emphasized the role of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Region 2 in closely coordinating with the police and the People's Committee at the commune level to effectively implement the task of state management of fire prevention and rescue in the area. At the same time, he requested that after the conference, they continue to organize propaganda and provide professional guidance to improve management effectiveness, control fire and explosion incidents and accidents, minimize damage to people and property, and contribute to ensuring security and order and socio -economic development of the locality.
