Khac Hung said that at first JSOL wanted to sing House music, but he stopped because he thought that after a long time in the profession, what JSOL needed most was a product that could express himself.

The musician Nguoi Hay Forget Me Di said that when JSOL first approached him, he had intended to refuse the collaboration because he felt that he was in a contemplative phase and was afraid that it would not be suitable for JSOL's energy source. He revealed that JSOL had up to 12 demos that could be released, but "Dan Mat" was the most suitable.

In terms of visuals, the MV (directed by Gin Tran) shows the male singer's humor, mischief and charm. Notably, the MV features 5 brothers: Erik, Pham Dinh Thai Ngan, Nicky, Captain Boy and Vu Thinh. The female lead of the MV is also a surprise, when Lam Thanh My reappears.

The actress of I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass said that her relationship with JSOL started many years ago, when they both participated in a film project. She shared, "In the past, we've only been acting in horror films. When JSOL said that this would be a modern product with eye-catching visuals, I agreed."

He said that after The Heroes , he did not want to participate in any more competitions because he was not confident and afraid that he would not leave his mark. However, when he was invited to participate with 29 other brothers, he came with the spirit of "nothing to lose" because that time was also the last year of his contract with the management company, if there was no progress, he would proactively leave the company.
