The latest trailer has revealed a series of interesting behind-the-scenes stories, giving the audience a real look at the rehearsal process as well as the artists' emotions before going on stage.
With "To Your Ex", taking on the role of team captain for the first time, "brother" BigDaddy admitted that he experienced a range of emotions - nervous, worried but also extremely excited. The male rapper said that the experience from two seasons of Rap Viet helped him feel more confident when leading the group. BigDaddy also humorously introduced his team as "men from the future, talking to the present about the past".
In particular, he surprised the audience when he revealed that he used his own demo to develop the competition song. The song was completed with producer Hung Doan and Duong K, based on the idea of five boys transforming into robots created by a "doctor" - the character performed by "pretty girl" Orange, who also participated in writing the lyrics and singing the bridge. The female singer wittily shared: "From Anh trai to Em xinh, wherever Cam is, there are hits, and even best hits."
During the recording, "brother" Hai Nam was moved when he burst into tears at the sudden appearance of his family. He shared that he had promised not to cry anymore, but when he saw his relatives in the audience, his emotions exploded. BigDaddy praised the spirit and efforts of the members, especially Hai Nam - who contributed greatly to building the concept that was Vietnamese but still modern and "futuristic".
On the opposite side, team HUSTLANG Robber brought the performance "Sooner or Later", inspired by the journey of fishermen and sailors - as a metaphor for their own musical journey. Robber said he wanted to send his gratitude to those working at sea, with the wish that everyone would return safely.

The team's backstage atmosphere was also filled with laughter when "brother" Khoi Vu humorously told stories about the "Thieu Than autonomous zone" and the "HUSTLANG Robber autonomous zone" - where the whole team practiced diligently, having to do push-ups every session. Nham Phuong Nam revealed that the whole team often practiced 4-5 times continuously for a performance that was only over 5 minutes long. He also affectionately called Robber "little Hai", while Robber nicknamed him "brother Nam", which delighted the audience.
Members like Mason Nguyen and "pretty girl" Lamoon all praised the team leader's spirit, affirming that Robber was the one who "put all his effort into the song". Robber revealed that he hoped this performance would be like a "short film", taking the audience through many emotions.
At the end of the exchange, "brother" Jaysonlei confidently affirmed: "The six of us have done it and will go even further to make 'Brother Say Hi' explode together."
Episode 8 will air at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 8 on channel HTV2.
