Hop Thanh Commune: More than 50 people participated in training on preserving the Red Dao's Cap Sac ceremony

Attending the opening ceremony of the training session were members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Hop Thanh commune and more than 50 people of the Red Dao ethnic group in the commune.

Delegates and Red Dao people in Hop Thanh commune attended the opening ceremony of the training session.

The training session provided a lot of important knowledge and skills, focusing on main contents such as: concepts of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and their roles in modern life; outstanding results in displaying, introducing and promoting tourism products of the commune in recent times; instructions on displaying cultural products to honor national cultural values; introduction to the Cap sac ceremony of Red Dao groups and branches in Lao Cai province.

In particular, at the training session, the 7-lamp Cap sac ceremony - a sacred ritual with high cultural value - was recreated and performed to create unique cultural products to serve the promotion and development of sustainable tourism.

More than 50 Red Dao people from Hop Thanh commune attended the training session.

The training session aims to raise awareness and skills for the Red Dao community about the meaning and value of the Cap Sac ceremony, and provide guidance on how to preserve and promote traditional cultural heritage in association with local tourism development. Thereby, contributing to preserving the national cultural identity, enriching spiritual life and creating sustainable livelihoods for local people.
