Base Tax 6 organized a conference to guide the conversion of business households with lump-sum tax to tax declaration.

On November 6, the 6th Tax Department held a conference to guide the conversion of business households from lump-sum tax to tax declaration. This is a step to prepare for the abolition of lump-sum tax from January 1, 2026.

More than 200 businesses attended the conference.

The conference was attended by over 200 representatives of business households from Yen Bai , Au Lau, Nam Cuong wards and Yen Binh commune.

Tax officers at base 6 distributed documents and directly provided consultation and propaganda to business household representatives.

At the conference, Tax officers at Base 6 focused on guiding business households to register for the conversion of tax payment method from lump-sum to declaration; the process of tax declaration, payment and use of electronic invoices. At the same time, tax officers also advised on the conversion of operating model from business households to enterprises, guided on tracking some simple accounting books on purchases and sales, helping business households gradually improve their management skills and compliance with tax laws.

The conference also spent time exchanging and discussing to remove difficulties, obstacles and address concerns of business people in the process of fulfilling tax obligations.

On the sidelines of the conference, the two network operators Viettel and VNPT coordinated to deploy and introduce services to support business households in fulfilling their tax obligations more conveniently, quickly and effectively.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vuong Bich Hang - Deputy Head of Lao Cai Provincial Tax Department said: After the success of the conference guiding the conversion of business households from lump-sum tax to tax declaration at Tax Department 6, the tax sector will continue to deploy to tax establishments in Lao Cai province, to support business households to correctly understand tax declaration as well as the benefits that converting lump-sum tax to tax declaration brings; support business households to access and implement new regulations.
