Yen Binh Commune Youth Union: focuses on party member development

Dao Kieu village's Youth Union currently has more than 40 members, including 5 Party members. Dao Kieu village Youth Union Secretary Hoang Van Nghia said: "The Youth Union is focusing on educating and training 1 outstanding member to introduce to the Party for consideration of admission by the end of 2025. Currently, the difficulty in creating sources for developing Party members is because most young people work far away. Therefore, the Youth Union focuses on propaganda, assigning Party members to find factors, then training and creating sources. In addition, the Youth Union also promotes movements, creating conditions for Youth Union members to have opportunities to contribute, practice and mature. From 2024 to now, 3 outstanding Youth Union members have been admitted to the Party. In the next term, the Youth Union strives to have 1-2 outstanding Youth Union members each year to join the Party."

Village 2 Youth Union currently has more than 20 active members. To create a source for party development, the Youth Union has assigned the executive committee members to review and introduce outstanding Youth Union members to educate on ideals and introduce them to attend Party awareness training classes. At the same time, assign regular Party members to help outstanding Youth Union members strive to soon qualify to join the Party. From 2024 to now, the Youth Union has introduced and had 1 outstanding member admitted to the Party.

Honored to be admitted to the Party in February 2025, young Party member Dinh Duc Thai, Youth Union of Village 2, shared: "Being in the ranks of the Party, I always strive to promote the role of a Party member, always take the lead in all activities, especially in propaganda and mobilization so that other young Party members strive to be in the ranks of the Party."

Currently, Yen Binh Commune Youth Union has more than 1,000 members in 37 branches (2 school branches and 35 village branches). In the 2025 - 2030 term, Yen Binh Commune Youth Union strives to introduce and admit 50 - 60 party members. By October 2025, the Commune Youth Union had coordinated with the Party branches to train and introduce 15 outstanding members for the Party to consider and admit.

Secretary of the Commune Youth Union Trinh Dinh Phong said: “Thanks to the close direction of the Commune Party Committee, the work of developing young Party members in Yen Binh has had positive changes, the quality of the source has been improved, contributing to rejuvenating the Party members and consolidating the strength of the Party Committee. During this term, the Commune Youth Union focuses on the quality of outstanding members admitted to the Party, especially political quality, sense of responsibility for work, respect for the law and general regulations, along with the spirit of being ready to learn and contribute to the collective. In addition, the introduction must ensure compliance with principles, processes, procedures, according to the provisions of the Party Charter, and instructions of the Party Committee”.

The Party Committee of Yen Binh commune pays close attention to and directs the work of developing party members in the youth union force, identifying this as a key and regular task of the entire political system.
