Checking the preparation work for the operation of the new commune-level government apparatus

On June 24, comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the preparations for putting into operation the new administrative apparatus of Phu Luong and Hop Thanh communes.

Pursuant to the decision of competent authorities on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Phu Luong district, Phu Luong commune was established on the basis of merging Du town, Giang Tien town and Dong Dat and Yen Lac communes; Hop Thanh commune was established on the basis of merging On Luong, Hop Thanh and Phu Ly communes.

According to the reports of Phu Luong and Hop Thanh communes, up to now, the two localities have completed the preparation work and are ready to put the new apparatus into operation. Through review, the leadership apparatus of the Party, government, Fatherland Front, public service units, etc. of the two communes have had plans and assigned specific tasks; the merger and rearrangement of departments, offices, and units have been implemented. Regarding personnel, both localities have made scientific arrangements, ensuring factors of professional capacity, working and living conditions for cadres and civil servants when taking up their duties at the new commune.

Regarding facilities, the network system and internet connection lines are basically installed and guaranteed. Computer systems, printers, scanners and office equipment are fully equipped. The work of managing, storing records, digitizing documents, etc. is carried out to ensure requirements.

After the on-site inspection, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thanh Binh, requested Phu Luong and Hop Thanh communes to urgently repair and renovate the facilities at the new headquarters; renovate the public administrative service center; and review and upgrade equipment and machinery to ensure good operation from July 1, 2025.
