Tay Ninh: Planning 79 land plots, nearly 600 hectares for social housing construction

A social housing project has been completed and put into use.

Of which, 7 projects with a scale of 97.85 hectares were identified to support 100% of compensation costs, site clearance for projects to create clean land funds, and bid to select investors to build social housing according to Resolution No. 15/2024/NQ-HDND, dated October 15, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council.

According to the Department of Construction, up to now, the province has completed 13 social housing projects for workers and low-income people with a construction scale of 4,358 units (old Long An completed 7 projects with 1,958 units, old Tay Ninh completed 6 projects with 2,400 units).

Through review, in 2025, 13 projects have started construction, with a scale of 21.56 hectares and 4,447 units, with the ability to complete 2,929 units, reaching 78.25% of the target assigned by the Government in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg, dated February 27, 2025 of the Government, the remaining units will be opened for sale to the subjects and completed in the first quarter of 2026, at the latest by the middle of the second quarter of 2026.

In addition, through review, in the fourth quarter of 2025, there are 5 projects eligible to start construction, with a scale of 26.27 hectares and 6,016 apartments.

A social housing project to start construction in 2025

Previously, according to Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the target of completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030, the Government assigned the target of completing social housing in the period of 2025-2030 of Tay Ninh province as 80,240 units (old Long An province 70,740 units, old Tay Ninh province 9,500 units)./.
