In recent days, a series of fried chicken shops in Ho Chi Minh City have suddenly been crowded with customers lining up. Eating fried chicken while 'hunting' for reindeer has quickly become a 'fever' for Christmas 2025.

Recently, a famous fried chicken brand in Vietnam announced a special program for Christmas 2025 with a gift of a "super cute" stuffed reindeer when buying a combo of fried chicken, spaghetti, potato shake and soft drink with a total bill from 149,000 VND.

The brand announced that the program applies from December 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026 or until the gifts run out, applicable on all purchasing channels of this fried chicken chain.

Immediately after that, many diners in Ho Chi Minh City as well as many provinces came to the store to eat or order food through the food delivery app to receive this reindeer, making the stores of this fried chicken brand crowded with customers and shippers.

Not stopping there, many social media accounts also shared images and journeys of "hunting" for cute reindeer, making the activity of "eating fried chicken and receiving stuffed reindeer" suddenly become a fever on social media, with many people "following the trend".

According to Thanh Nien 's records this afternoon, December 4, at a branch of the above fried chicken brand on Hau Giang Street, Phu Lam Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (old District 6), there were many customers even though it was not rush hour.

According to observations, the customers here are students, families with small children... Among them, Ms. Le Thi Thao (32 years old) brought her son to the store to buy fried chicken to receive a reindeer as a gift, but when the staff informed her that the branch was temporarily out of gifts, she was quite disappointed.

"My child studies nearby, so after picking him up from school, we went in to buy it. The stuffed reindeer has been popular here these days, and my child also wanted me to take him to eat fried chicken and spaghetti to get gifts, so I indulged him. Unfortunately, this branch no longer has any left," she said.

However, the mother and child still sat at the store to eat. The mother added that she would look through delivery apps, hoping that other branches still had reindeer to buy for her child.

Some stores announced that they have temporarily run out of reindeer to give away to customers.

Meanwhile, another store of this fried chicken brand on Cong Hoa Street in Tan Son Nhat Ward (old Tan Binh District) was also crowded with customers looking for fried chicken and spaghetti. Many young customers were very happy that the store still had many stuffed reindeer.

In the long line of people waiting for their turn was The Anh (22 years old) and his girlfriend. He said that the reindeer at this store had become a "hot trend" in the past few days, so they decided to go eat it together, and each took one home.

"The reindeer look so cute. I searched a lot of stores but some places had run out of this gift program. I saw on the delivery app that this branch was still giving away reindeer, so we went there this afternoon, afraid it would run out," he shared.
