This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,137 VND/USD, down 35 VND compared to September 13, commercial banks also adjusted down from 10-22 VND.

Opening this morning (September 16), the central exchange rate continued to decrease by 35 VND, while the domestic gold ring price increased by about 100,000 VND/tael.
At 9:00 a.m., Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings at 78-79.20 million VND, an increase of 100,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price. Similarly, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of plain round gold rings at 77.98-79.18 million VND/tael (buy/sell), also adding 100,000 VND/tael.
SJC 999.9 gold ring also increased by 100,000 VND, currently this business is trading around 77.90-79.20 million VND/tael.
Meanwhile, the price of SJC gold remained unchanged. Specifically, Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company all announced the buying price of SJC gold at VND78.50 million/tael and the selling price at VND80.50 million/tael. The most recent adjustment (September 5) saw this brand reduce the price by VND500,000/tael.
In the world , the price of gold jumped to around 2,582 USD/ounce, up 22 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price when converted is equivalent to 77 million VND/tael, about 3.5 million VND/tael cheaper than the domestic SJC brand.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietinbank buys at 24,355 VND/USD and sells at 24,695 VND/USD, down 25 VND. BIDV also decreased by 10 VND, currently buying and selling at 24,370-24,710 VND/USD.
Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate from 24,350-24,720 VND/USD, with no fluctuations. Eximbank announced from 24,310-24,680 VND/USD./.
