The competition rate for grade 10 at Gifted High School is lower than last year.

The Gifted High School (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has just announced the number of candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year. Accordingly, there are 3,509 students nationwide registering for the 10th grade exam at this school.

According to information from the Gifted High School, this year there are 3,509 candidates registered for the 10th grade exam. With an enrollment target of 595 students, the overall competition ratio to enter the school is 1/5.8.

Compared to the 2024 grade 10 entrance exam of this school, with the same enrollment target as this year but 3,843 students registered for the exam, the competition ratio is 1/6.5. Thus, the competition ratio of grade 10 of the Gifted High School in 2025 is lower than in 2024.

For each specialized class, the competition ratio is as follows:

• Literature major registered 782 - quota 105, competition ratio 1/7.4
• Math major registered 1,018 - quota 105, competition ratio 1/9.6
• English major registered 1,272 - quota 105, competition ratio 1/12
• Computer Science major registered 205 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/2.9
• Physics major registered 244 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/3.4
• Chemistry major registered 364 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/5.2
• Biology major registered 266 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/3.8.

Thus, grade 10 specialized in math and English are the two specialized classes with the highest percentage in the school.

Candidates take the exam at the following locations:

• Exam site No. 1: Gifted High School (District 5 campus), 153 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Ward 9, District 5. Exam on May 24 and morning of May 25.
• Exam site number 2: Saigon Practical High School, 220 Tran Binh Trong, Ward 4, District 5. Exam on May 24 and afternoon of May 25.
• Exam site No. 3: Gifted High School (Thu Duc City campus), Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City. Exam on May 24 and 25.

The 10th grade exam notice for the Gifted High School is issued on the admission system with the login account that the candidate used to register for admission. It is expected that candidates can access the admission registration portal to view the exam notice from May 21. Candidates need to print the exam notice to present at the exam session.

The 10th grade exam at Gifted High School will take place on May 25-26.
