After the opening match, winning 3-0 against host U21 Indonesia, U21 Vietnam is very confident entering the second match of Group A, facing strong opponent U21 Serbia - the team currently ranked 8th in the world .
Despite being rated much lower, U21 Vietnam entered the match with confidence, even playing fairly with opponents who were tall and had very good physical strength.
The consecutive mistakes in the first step of the European team were fully exploited by our girls, thereby breaking through in the second half of set 1. With the excellence of Dang Thi Hong and Nguyen Thi Bich Hue, U21 Vietnam won 25/21 in the first set. This was a surprising result for experts and fans.

The 2025 U21 Volleyball World Cup will take place from August 7 to 17 in Surabaya (Indonesia). The tournament will attract 24 teams, divided into 4 groups (6 teams each), playing a round-robin tournament to select the 4 teams with the best results from the 4 groups to enter the round of 16.
