U23 Thailand and U23 Indonesia faced each other in the second semi-final of the 2023 Southeast Asian U23 tournament. Entering the match, U23 Indonesia surprised everyone by playing confidently. They let U23 Thailand pressure them but were ready to play tough and organize counterattacks at high speed. In the 10th minute, Jeam Kelly suddenly fired a shot from outside the penalty area, the ball flew with a dangerous trajectory and the goal came to U23 Indonesia.

In the 23rd minute, Ferrari jumped high to head the ball to raise the score to 2-0 for U23 Indonesia. In the 45th minute, U23 Thailand once again paid the price for the mistakes of their defenders. Haykal from U23 Indonesia crossed the ball awkwardly and made Natcha from U23 Thailand fumble and put the ball into her own net.
Entering the second half, U23 Thailand played with great determination. They had many chances but missed them incredibly. Coach Sritaro's students were also lucky to escape 2 goals when the U23 Indonesia strikers did not finish sharp. In the end, U23 Indonesia won and got a ticket to the final match against U23 Vietnam at 8:00 p.m. on August 26.
