The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to a report on the drafting of a resolution on handling dike incidents in the province.

On September 12, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to hear a report on the drafting of a Resolution regulating the content and tasks of expenditures for maintenance, repair and urgent handling of dike incidents in the province. Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on the development of a Resolution regulating the content and tasks of maintenance and urgent handling of dike incidents in the province, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) presided over and coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to urgently implement. Accordingly, the department received 24 written comments; at the same time, synthesized and completed the draft to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and promulgation of the above resolution.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the process of drafting the resolution of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; requested departments, branches and localities to continue to study, analyze and evaluate each specific content, propose appropriate adjustments and amendments to groups of issues. In particular, focusing on reviewing and assessing the current status of dikes such as the level of degradation, construction plans, central and local funding sources for annual maintenance and repair of works... Based on comments, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development continues to fully record and complete the draft so that the Provincial People's Committee can submit it to the Provincial People's Council for approval, ensuring strictness, compliance with regulations and suitability with reality.
