Recently, the Women's Union of To Hieu Ward launched the "Digital Branch" and "Digital Family" models at the Women's Branch of Group 11, Chieng Le, with 40 members. These members actively promote and guide members and women in using digital services, cashless payments, and installing level 2 electronic identification. They also coordinate in advising and supporting members in resolving issues when using digital platforms, and regularly update members' digital knowledge and skills.
Ms. Quang Thi Tam, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of To Hieu Ward, informed: Along with the "Digital Branch" and "Digital Family" models, the Union also implements "Digital Women's Club," "Digital Business Women's Group," and "Digital Union Branch" to help members and women improve their digital skills and apply technology in daily life, production, and business activities, contributing to the gradual implementation of digital transformation in the community and bringing many practical benefits to the people.
Ms. Cam Thi Hong Duyen, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, informed: In the past period, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union, in coordination with VNPT Son La, connected and deployed the VNPT iOffice software to 100% of affiliated organizations; trained more than 11,000 cadres and members on digital transformation, application of information technology, and safe use of social networks. The Union also actively directed its branches at all levels to promote the application of information technology to support women in implementing the "Support for Women's Entrepreneurship Project giai đoạn 2017-2025", organizing training courses on online business, applying digital technology to promote and introduce products, and participating in e-commerce platforms...

To date, 100% of branches utilize social media in their activities; over 13,000 members and women have received support in knowledge and skills to participate in and apply digital platforms, e-commerce marketplaces, and electronic transactions. During the year, thousands of women in the province received support for starting businesses; 30 new cooperatives with women in management were established; 149 cooperatives with women in management were maintained; and thousands of products from members and women were showcased online.
Implementing the breakthrough initiative "Accompanying the building of strong women's branches and groups in border communes, with a focus on areas with religious communities," the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union directed all levels of the union to effectively implement the "1+1" model; regularly attending branch meetings, understanding the circumstances, thoughts, and aspirations of women and the issues that need to be addressed for female members such as employment, economic development, health, gender equality, etc.
In coordination with the Provincial Border Guard Command, the program "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" was implemented, providing gifts and livelihood support to disadvantaged women members in border communes, with a total value of support activities and donations received in 2025 exceeding 530 million VND. Simultaneously, basic knowledge and skills in crime prevention, especially drug-related crimes; prevention of human trafficking, violence, and child abuse were disseminated; and 15 models of "Women's Associations participating in protecting border markers" were maintained.

Periodically, once every quarter, 10 members of the "Women's Association for Border Protection" in Muong Lan commune coordinate with officers and soldiers of the Muong Lan Border Guard Post to patrol and protect the border and national boundary markers, contributing to maintaining sovereignty and security along the border. Ms. Lo Thi Thiem, President of the Women's Union of Muong Lan commune, shared: In addition to border patrols, the members are also equipped with knowledge of the law, regulations on border control; and skills in disseminating information and raising awareness about preventing and combating border violations within the community.

Building on these achievements, the Provincial Women's Union aims to strive to ensure that by 2030, 100% of full-time association officials at all levels and 80% or more of members meet the requirements of digital citizen competency and are proficient in using software within the association system; each association branch will have at least one "Digital Branch," contributing to improving the capacity of association officials and building an increasingly strong association organization.
