Regarding response to storm No. 11, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued an urgent notice this morning (October 6).
According to this department, in case students go to school, the unit must arrange flexible management and teaching to ensure safety for students and teachers.
Specifically, the announcement of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that, based on the forecast bulletin at 5:00 a.m. today (October 6) of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 11 (Matmo) has entered mainland China and is weakening rapidly.

Hanoi area is not affected by storm winds but from noon to tonight, there is a possibility of heavy rain, locally very heavy rain (50-100mm, some places over 150mm), with a risk of local flooding in low-lying areas with poor drainage.
To ensure the safety of students, teachers and school facilities, the Department of Education and Training requires units to closely monitor weather developments and proactively and flexibly adjust teaching plans.

Schools check and inspect drainage systems, schoolyards, classrooms, cafeterias, boarding areas, etc., and promptly clear and reinforce them to prevent flooding and landslides.
In particular, in response to storm circulation, the school regularly updates information and promptly reports on rain, flooding, and impacts on teaching and learning activities (if any) to the Department of Education and Training for handling.
