On the afternoon of August 14, on To Ngoc Van Street, through Tam Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, a traffic accident occurred, killing one person.
The deceased victim was identified as Ms. LND (71 years old, residing in Thu Duc City).
Authorities arrived at the scene to clarify the cause of the accident.
Earlier, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, Ms. D was riding her motorbike on To Ngoc Van Street, heading from Pham Van Dong Street to National Highway 1. When she reached the intersection of alley 453, Tam Phu Ward, her motorbike collided with another motorbike going in the same direction. Ms. D staggered, lost control of her motorbike and hit the left side of a truck going in the opposite direction, dying on the spot.
According to records, To Ngoc Van street has a large volume of traffic but only has 2 lanes, trucks passing through have taken up one lane.
Upon receiving the news, Thu Duc City Police and related forces arrived at the scene, blocked off about 300 meters of road, extracted security cameras... to clarify the cause of the accident.
