Evening view of Truc Lam Tue Duc Zen Monastery

Truc Lam Tue Duc Zen Monastery, located in Thanh Tu village, Dong Que commune, Song Lo district (formerly), was built on the former site of Kim Ton Pagoda - an ancient pagoda over 700 years old. While Kim Ton was once a sacred place, a spiritual hub for generations of local residents, Truc Lam Tue Duc Zen Monastery now represents a continuation and affirmation of the enduring vitality of Buddhism.

Since 2010, the Zen monastery has been under construction at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, located on Mount Hinh Nhan, in the Sang Son mountain range.

The entire architecture of the Zen monastery reflects the traditional style of Vietnamese pagodas and stupas.

In the main hall and ancestral hall, the fragrant incense mingled with the gentle light of candles, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

The statues are seated in a meditative posture, their faces serene, their eyes half-closed, exuding a tranquil yet benevolent aura.

While the main hall and ancestral hall exude solemnity, the water pavilion offers a poetic and romantic atmosphere.

Upon arriving here, many people linger for a long time, silently gazing at the tranquil lake, as if finding a precious moment of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of life.

Within the monastery grounds, the Fragrance Hall stands out as a particularly striking feature.

This place displays artifacts unearthed from the ancient Kim Ton Pagoda: old bricks, wooden statues, and religious objects covered in the patina of time.

Each artifact is a witness to history, telling the story of an ancient temple that once stood on Mount Sang.

Along with that are photographs and documents about the construction process of Truc Lam Tue Duc Zen Monastery, reminding today's generation to cherish and continue the legacy of their ancestors.

Today, Zen monasteries are not only spiritual destinations but also places where people voluntarily adjust their lives and find balance in their souls.
