Van Dinh organizes many activities to care for children during the summer.

On May 28th, the People's Committee of Van Dinh commune organized the launching ceremony for the Month of Action for Children and the opening of summer activities for 2026 with the theme: "Happy, safe, and confident children in the digital age".

In her opening remarks, Vice Chairman of Van Dinh Commune People's Committee Pham Thuy Hoa stated: Over the years, Van Dinh commune has consistently focused on implementing comprehensive solutions to ensure children's rights and create a safe and healthy living environment for their holistic development. Many practical activities have been organized, such as healthcare, support for disadvantaged children, building playgrounds, organizing cultural and artistic activities, sports, and life skills education for children.

According to the 2026 Summer Activity Plan, Van Dinh commune will organize practical and beneficial programs for children such as summer activities, cultural and artistic events, sports , life skills training, awareness campaigns on preventing injuries, drowning, and protecting children in the online environment.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Van Dinh commune awarded 30 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, along with gifts to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have excelled in their studies; at the same time, they commended and rewarded 92 students with outstanding achievements in the 2015-2026 school year and presented prizes for the "We Tell Stories About Uncle Ho" competition.

On the same morning, Van Dinh commune also organized a heart check-up program for underprivileged children; and an exhibition of children's paintings on the theme "Children's Rights - Children's Voices".
