Van Don organizes many activities to stimulate summer tourism

With the goal of attracting 1.4 million tourists to Van Don in 2023, the locality is implementing many new and attractive summer tourism stimulus activities, promising to create special impressions, bringing visitors the most interesting experiences.

Tourists line up to buy tickets to travel to the island communes of Van Don and Co To districts at Ao Tien high-class port.

Specifically, on April 25, at Van Don International Airport, Vietjet Air will officially launch the Van Don (Quang Ninh) - Tra Noc (Can Tho) flight route. This is a prominent event that attracts the attention of many local people and tourists. The flight route not only opens the "door" connecting the two localities of Quang Ninh - Can Tho but also creates a premise for the development of the two regions of the Red River Delta and the Mekong River Delta.

Up to this point, flights in the first week on April 25, 27 and 29 have been fully booked on both routes and the number of tickets continues to increase day by day.

On April 28 and 29, Van Don district will also host the event “Van Don welcomes summer” with a food festival, entertainment and tourism promotion in Phuong Dong urban area; opening a walking street combined with a night market in Quan Lan and Minh Chau island communes. These are all new and attractive tourism products, especially in the island communes of Van Don district, which have not been able to attract tourists before.
