Creative literature and art with new space

QTO - After the merger of Quang Binh and Quang Tri (old) into the new Quang Tri province, the creative team of the province's literature and arts (VHNT) is ready to enter a new, open creative space with more opportunities and potential; at the same time, it also faces many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, members of the branches of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association (VHNT) always consider this an opportunity to renew sources of materials and topics, stimulate creativity and create momentum towards the ultimate goal: Serving the people with the quintessence and sublimation of art.

Discussing the advantages for members of the Literature Association after the merger, poet Vo Van Luyen, Vice President of the Literature Association, shared that the most obvious thing is that a stronger creative force has appeared right after the merger. The Association currently has 247 members; in addition, the creative space is also more open, which means that the source of creative materials and conditions for exchange, learning, discussion and sharing have also become much more diverse and rich. Old topics will have the opportunity to be renewed, and authors will also find new and attractive creative inspiration in each land and people of the new Quang Tri province. From here, the expectation of opportunities to have works of national significance, even beyond the country's borders, is completely conceivable.

Sharing the same thought, artist Trinh Hoang Tan, Head of the Fine Arts Association, excitedly said that, for fine arts in particular, the diversity of topics is a great advantage for members after the merger. Because in the past, the topics of Quang Tri province (old) mainly focused on war memories, now it is possible to expand to many other topics to be exploited in a variety of ways, from new perspectives. Originally, before the merger, the fine arts brothers of Quang Binh and Quang Tri (old) also had exchanges, sharing and learning exchanges, now there will be more opportunities for creative cooperation. If in the future, the association has the conditions to organize practical creation camps, this connection will certainly be much closer and more effective.

Besides the advantages, there are still many challenges after the merger for the creative team of Literature and Arts. These are the "common" difficulties in any local Literature and Arts Association, such as funding sources to support creativity, promotion and introduction of Literature and Arts works, lack of works with "weight" and strong influence... In the context of a larger number of members and a more open space, the difficulties will increase and require timely, effective and sustainable solutions. That is not to mention another difficulty as shared by musician Duong Nguyet Anh, President of the Music Association, because many associations have a large number of elderly members, which poses many challenges in regular activities.

According to poet Vo Van Luyen, first of all, in the coming time, it is necessary to continue to focus on training and fostering professional skills, especially paying more attention to the young creative team of literature and art. At the same time, in the context of digital transformation, there should be appropriate solutions to create conditions and promote the promotion of literature and art works through digital applications. Painter Trinh Hoang Tan added that the immediate solution is that no matter how difficult it is, it is necessary to organize annual creative camps for each branch, because this is not only an opportunity for members to exchange and learn, but also brings creative inspiration, penetrates reality and from there creates works that have the "breath" of life, reflecting the true voice of reality. Musician Duong Nguyet Anh also shares this view when he believes that there should be not just one but more actual creative trips each year for members of the branches after the merger. Thereby, besides inspiring creativity, it also contributes to creating cohesion and sharing among each member.

Vice President in charge of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Editor-in-Chief of Nhat Le Magazine Nguyen Thi Le Na said that after the merger, in addition to the advantages and opportunities in the new creative space, the Quang Tri Provincial Literature and Arts Association faces many difficulties and challenges. The Provincial Literature and Arts Association will continue to strive to perfect its apparatus, ensuring a streamlined organization, professional and effective operations. At the same time, the association will continue to build a team of artists to meet the requirements of the new development stage, unite, create and strive for high-quality works, closely following real life, contributing to building a cultural and artistic foundation imbued with identity, promoting the inherent creative strengths of the locality. In addition, the association hopes to continue to receive attention from Party committees at all levels, local authorities, organizations, units, enterprises, etc. so that artists can continue to contribute works that leave their mark on the land and people of the new Quang Tri.
